full heart

Tuesday, May 22, 2018

Summer has officially become my favorite time of year.  Especially, this summer.  I once again have a full house and that truly makes for a full heart.
Andrew is finishing up his senior year of High School and getting ready for final exams and graduation.  Libby is home from the University of Colorado, just finishing her sophomore year, and has caught the making bug and that makes my heart so happy.  Pressing flowers, making pallet tables and getting creative in the kitchen.  (Thank you!)  As Charlie gets used to the idea that he has graduated from college and waits on a "real" job.  He is spending a lot of time "working" on his golf game.  😊
The back patio is open and if it's not raining THAT is where we will be eating our meals.  I've missed the outside so much this past winter.

Having three helpers once again makes my heart not only full but gives me more time to knit!

  5. Great. Summer is my favorite season as well, but somehow to me it's also a period when I have to manage my time correctly, mainly due to DST. I really despise the switch to DST. As a mother of small children I can't stand getting up when it's dark and then sending small kids out to the bus stop when it's dark outside. Their bus arrives at 7am and with Standard time it's light outside, but during DST it's dark and scary (for the kids) so I have to drive them to the bus stop so they don't have stand on the corner in the pitch darkness. It's also nearly impossible to honor their 8pm bedtime when it's still light outside. They see the light and want to stay up to play but they can't because they need their sleep so they can get up at what feels like 5am to get ready for school. PLEASE stop DST. My body never adjusts and I feel tired all day long because the time change goes against my circadian rhythm (click here for more).

  6. Hi, I just have to say that this site is just amazing!
Much creative and extremely curricular website I have ever found while looking for UK best essay writers on the Internet.
I am very satisfied with their work and efforts, everything looked very well and kept. I appreciate your work, keep up a great job.

  7. Now I just wish there where many more people thinking this so we could finally get this industry going. All those flat screen games at E3 seems so dated now that we have a whole new way of experiencing assignment writing and interacting with virtual content. Oh how I want all that new Valve tech and games to release so we can get some real hype going again.
