We just returned from a fun vacation in Lake Tahoe.
Pier sits.  Lake jumps.  Jeep rides.  Wanderlust.  Live music.  Delicious food + wine. Wild flower picking.  Flower crown making.  Chambers punches.  Boat rides.
Hollow Dress (Available until 8/5)
The last boat ride resulted in this.  I stepped into the boat and rolled onto my foot breaking both my foot and my ankle.  Oy.  I know my knitting peeps will rejoice with me in all the extra knitting time I will have.  There definitely are perks that come along with an injury.  A gift in every experience.

Oh, Leslie, 'been there, done that'! NOT fun…sending a big hug. What a lovely spot to vacation. Enjoy the extra knitting hours and all the pampering from the family.

  4. Ouch! So glad it was your foot & not your fingers/hand/arm, although I'm sure those crutches aren't much fun. Sounds like you had a great vacation despite the mishap & you've got a great attitude. Keep knitting!

  9. Oh no, I am just starting to walk again after breaking my foot in May. Yes, I had to look at all the "good" about being laid up, like knitting time! I did knit a lot but that even got old, only because I was getting so tired from sitting with foot up above heart. Wishing you well and a fast healing time! Be sure to take some extra Vit.D, really helps bones knit together!
