Does anyone else have a few of these hanging around?
I have always saved my wine corks. Inspiration hit years ago when I saw my first wine cork bulletin board. Always wanting to make one, but still have not.
Anyhow, we were looking for something fun to mark our goods in the garden.
How about a wine cork on a stick? Or a popsicle stick? Or a tongue depressor? Now we're talkin'!
And pumpkins? The most exciting thing for me to watch grow!

ReplyDeleteReady for a great laugh? I have a huge box of cervical scrapers (unused of course!) that have been making their way into our craft projects. With or without the cork, they would be a hoot in the garden as markers. Thanks for triggering that thought and enjoy the fruits of the garden.

ReplyDeleteI just made my wine cork board after about ... oh.... 8 years of wanting to do it. Love using corks to ID plants. Another use for my kajillion corks!

ReplyDeleteI love the idea! I definitely need to mark my plants. And finally something to do with all those corks! I drew a map last year but after a year in the window I can't read it anymore. Plus I can't remember what I've put in all of my flower pots so I don't know what's growing back and what won't. Markers definitely need markers. :)

That's brilliant! Thanks for the fun idea. We have sooooo many corks. (Same thing...have wanted to make a bulletin board, or cork wreath, FOREVER but never have.) Neill has corks from before he moved to California over 10 years ago!
