Thank you so much for all of your comments and emails regarding out sweet Trouble.  Your kind words, thoughts and prayers are so appreciated.  There really is so much love and goodness in the world.  I am forever grateful.
(Can you believe this heart tomato!)

Also, I had quite a response to the pin stitch markers.  (Over 300 requests!)  My goal is to make sure everyone who has emailed me, gets a set.  It might take some time, but eventually, they will land in your mailbox.  ;)

Happy weekend, friends!

  1. I do not know your feelings about faith but I think the tomato was a little love note from God. He can't stop the bad, like your losing Trouble, but he can give us a heart shaped tomato to let us know we are loved.

  2. My sentiments exactly as from the reader above. God's way of letting you know Trouble is doing okay now.

Want to thank you again (in advance for the stitch markers.

  3. Thanks for working on the stitch markers--hope you're enjoying your summer!

I started following your blog last June when reading about your sweet Trouble and her return. I loved how much you loved her! She was adorable. Last month we lost our precious Maggie, who was 15 but very healthy, we thought. Her loss was sudden, too, and heartbreaking. She was my Soulmate Dog. She was a rescue as are our other three dogs. Thank you for sharing your story and your love for Trouble. So very very sorry.

  5. I can't believe it. We had just talked about Trouble. How old was she? It is the saddest thing in the world to go through this and my heart aches for all of you. Nearly the same thing happened this past year to my daughter's lab, same symptoms exactly. We believe she had lung cancer. I am so sorry for your loss, Leslie. She was a beautiful animal.
