leap day fun

How was your Leap Day?!  It's always one of my favorite days.  A gift in the year.
It was a gorgeous day here.
I finally found some healthy Ranunculus at Trader Joes.
Sweet Trouble has been sporting her new accessory all day.  Somehow my Spiral Cowl ended up around her neck.  And we thought her personality changed immediately.  She held her head up higher.  Stood up straighter.  Had more spunk in her step.  More confident than ever!
Wearing hand knits have a way with that.  Time to make someone a new Spiral Cowl.

  3. I spent Leap Day at work and then a dr's appt, much to my great dismay - I love Leap Day to be "special" and hope that I'm still here in 4 years to enjoy it!

Oh man, Trouble looks so incredibly sweet in that cowl - maybe she should become a knitwear model ...

Hi Leslie! I knit 10 of those Spiral Cowls out of Malabrigo Rasta for Xmas gifting this past year. They were/are so buttery soft. What a great, quick knit! Trouble looks so fancy in hers! ;) I also knit up a Bella Cowl and wanted to say thanks for the pattern! My sister-in-law loved it. I knit that out of an acrylic yarn (gasp!) because she lives in Arizona - no wool needed where she lives. It turned out great!
